LURO ADVANTAGE

While MNCs have global footprints
they are often characterised by
bureaucracy and slowness;
Luro differentiates itself through
flexibility, and speed to market
with very competitive rates

LURO
ADVANTAGE

Where larger multinational players are often constrained by scale and bureaucracy,
Luro offers the agility, speed to market, and competitive positioning that South Africa's fast-growing supplement and nutraceutical sector demands.

LURO IMPACT

We are deeply committed to:

Reducing Carbon Footprint

Compostable packaging is designed to
break down into compost. This can
then be used to enrich the soil, or even
to grow new resources.

Avoiding “Over-Packaging”

Eco-friendly packaging is not only about
the materials used in production, but
also the quantity of materials used.

LURO IMPACT

Luro Investments is committed to two core initiatives:

Reducing Carbon Footprint

Compostable packaging is designed to break down into compost. This can then be used to enrich the soil, or even to grow new resources.

Avoiding “Over-Packaging”

Eco-friendly packaging is not only about the materials used in production, but also the quantity of materials used.

Roberto is a seasoned entrepreneur and supply chain specialist with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and health industries. He began his career at Fine Pharmaceuticals, gaining foundational expertise in procurement and manufacturing before advancing to Operations Manager at Solal Technologies, where he led product development and supply chain strategy.

Craig Uren

Luro Group CFO

“I’ve always believed that sound leadership starts with people — understanding them, communicating clearly with them, and building the kind of trust that lets a team perform at its best.”

Craig is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) based in Johannesburg, South Africa, with 15 years post article experience across financial management, treasury, corporate structuring, transactions, and strategic advisory. He has worked with privately owned businesses and groups across a range of industries, providing practical, commercially focused advice that supports sustainable growth and sound governance.

As CFO of Luro Investments, Craig is responsible for the financial leadership of a diversified investment management group spanning Health, Wellness and Logistics. He works closely with our portfolio of companies to bring clarity, discipline and sound analysis to their financial decision-making — ensuring the numbers support, rather than constrain, sustainable growth.

Beyond his role at Luro, Craig is involved with Conserv Earth, a non-profit dedicated to protecting Africa’s wildlife — work that he cares deeply about, and it reflects the same principles he brings to his professional life — a commitment to stewardship, long-term thinking, and leaving things better than he found them.

Craig thrives in environments where integrity and excellence are non-negotiable, and is always looking to grow — both the businesses he’s part of, and the people within them.
