Roberto is a seasoned entrepreneur and supply chain specialist with over two decades of experience in the pharmaceutical and health industries. He began his career at Fine Pharmaceuticals, gaining foundational expertise in procurement and manufacturing before advancing to Operations Manager at Solal Technologies, where he led product development and supply chain strategy. At Ascendis Health, he expanded his oversight across multiple divisions, deepening his experience in managing diverse health brands.

In 2015, Roberto founded Cocurement, rapidly scaling the company from start-up to a revenue of R228 million within 7 years, and securing global distribution partnerships. He later partnered with private equity to establish Astrim Health, where he also served as Supply Chain Director and 2IC to the CEO. Through Luro Investments, his holding company for ventures including Lucca Actives, Symbiochem, WagLife, Probitec, and Generation Health – Roberto has demonstrated a strong entrepreneurial vision.

Luro Investments has experienced a period of hyper growth from March 2023 to February 2026, with a revenue of R338.8 million, attracting partnerships from international businesses, brands and multinationals.

Today, Roberto continues to drive innovation and strengthen business relationships as a highly respected leader in the burgeoning health and wellness space as CEO of Luro Investments.
